Weekend Getaway

We went to CT to visit Dustin and eat his amazing food! Here we are in Fenwick, CT. Susan found it on the map and we had to take the quick drive to see what it was all about. Unfortunately there wasn't much,but it was on the coast and absolutely beautiful!

Toby's First Road Trip

Toby and I took a road trip to Ky last weekend. He slept the whole way!!! He met a lot of new people and dogs and we both had a great time.This was his favorite hiding place at mom and dad's. Too bad I was always sitting in the chair when he crawled under it.

Meet Toby

Well... we got a puppy!!!
This is Toby. He's a 7-week old Lhasa Apso and Dachund mix.
He had a pretty good first night. He slept in his crate all night with just a lil' bit of whining. He loves to cuddle and is already spoiled rotten. I'll post more pictures soon.

Starved Rock

We finally were blessed with a beautiful weekend, so Tim and I took full advantage! We took a quick drive west to Starved Rock for some hiking. It was no mountain in Alaska, but it was a little icy.

Did I mention there was A LOT of mud?
